OUR CABINS

Camp Ahmek is located on Canoe Lake in the heart of beautiful Algonquin Park, Ontario. The camp is rustic, but with modern amenities, with the majority of the cabins without electricity or plumbing or heating in most cabins. There are a select few with electricity plus three cottages with full kitchens, heat and 3 pc bathrooms.

Cabins hold anywhere from 1 to 6 people and are located across the sprawling 50 acre property. A map of the camp can be found here. We are able to accommodate up to 200 people. Please note that there is a minimum guest count for a rental at Camp Ahmek- see below for more detail.

Most guest accommodations are the same cabins used by our campers and staff throughout the summer children’s camping season. The beds are single camp cots except for the three cottages.

THE FACILITIES

The dining hall and the washroom complex are located in the main camp area. The dining hall is used for meals, large gatherings and entertainment! There are two grand stone fireplaces at each end with ample space for all your planned activities.

If the weather permits, you are also welcome to have some meals outside on the beach. In the dining hall, there is a stage area at one end of the hall that is perfect for a band or DJ, a dance floor and a bar.

The modern central washroom and shower facilities are located behind the dining hall.
