Buses To Camp

• From Montreal ( 1 Month and 15 Day Camper Arrival Day)

  Departure Point: Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites (6700 Trans-Canada Hwy, Pointe-Claire, QC H9R 1C2)

  Departure Time: 9:30am. Please be sure to arrive by 9:00 am.

  Please go to the BACK PARKING LOT.

   

• From Ottawa ( 1 Month and 15 Day Camper Arrival Day )

  Departure Point: Notre Dame High School (710 Broadview Ave, Ottawa, ON K2A 2M2)

  Departure Time: 11:45am. Please be sure to arrive by 11:25am

   

• From Toronto ( All Camper Arrival Days)

  Departure Point:  Larry Grossman Forest Hill Memorial Arena ( 340 Chaplin Crescent, Toronto, ON M5N 2N3)

  Departure Time: 12:30pm. Please be sure to arrive by noon.

  Please have lunch before arriving, or pack a lunch for the bus ride.

• Full Session Campers

  Campers arriving by car should be delivered to the Canoe Lake Portage Store. From there, Wapomeo campers will take a boat or war canoe to camp, and Ahmek campers will take a bus.

  Arrive at Canoe Lake Portage Store by 2:30pm.

• Month / 15 Day Campers

  Campers arriving by car should be delivered to the Canoe Lake Portage Store. From there, Wapomeo campers will take a barge to camp, and Ahmek campers will take a bus.

  Arrive at Canoe Lake Portage Store by 2:30pm.

• 12 Day Campers  

  Campers arriving by car should be delivered to the Canoe Lake Portage Store. From there, Wapomeo campers will take a boat or war canoe to camp, and Ahmek campers will take a bus.

  Arrive at Canoe Lake Portage Store by 2:30pm.

• Try Out 1 Campers

  Campers arriving by car should be delivered to the Canoe Lake Portage Store. From there, Wapomeo campers will take a barge to camp, and Ahmek campers will take a bus.

  Arrive at Canoe Lake Portage Store by 10:30am.

• Try Out 2 Campers

  Campers arriving by car should be delivered to the Canoe Lake Portage Store. From there, Wapomeo campers will take a barge to camp, and Ahmek campers will take a bus.

  Arrive at Canoe Lake Portage Store by 2:30pm.

Arrival by Plane

• By Plane (Full Session, Month and 15 Day Campers)

  Campers arriving by plane must arrive before 11:00am on the day camp starts (Toronto time) at Pearson International Airport (YYZ). If this is not possible, campers can fly in on the day before and spend the night in the hotel with our staff.

  The Taylor Statten Camps books this hotel on your behalf.

  On the registration form, please indicate the level of supervision necessary for your camper. We have an Overnight option for campers whose flights arrive the day before the session start date as well as a Meet & Greet option for those arriving the day of. Both options are at an additional cost which will be charged to your account once flight information is received. 

  Escorts meeting flights will have Taylor Statten Camps signs, and will be wearing TSC apparel.  They will guide campers to a central meeting area where they will wait with other staff for the bus to camp.  Please ensure your camper’s luggage is on the same flight and is very clearly labelled to make the pick-up process as easy as possible.

  Please complete the Airport Transportation Form (please log in to access) for all campers arriving by plane and contact the Business Office, as soon as possible, if your camper is flying as an unaccompanied minor.  The due date for this form is May 15th to ensure you camper has space on the bus.
